On Monday, January 5, we organized our annual Safety Day with our colleagues at Sodemat in Ghent. Despite the cold winter day, this was – after two weeks of well-deserved vacation – the perfect moment to start the new year together and pay extra attention to workplace safety.

The day began with an informal welcome with coffee and pastries, followed by a series of short and interactive sessions. Topics such as cuts and burns, mental well-being, working at height, and load securing were addressed, each with a strong focus on practical applicability and awareness.
This Safety Day once again proved to be a valuable initiative, highlighting the importance of safety, collaboration, and engagement. Together, we are setting a safe and positive course for 2026.
