An update on the latest works at the Europa Terminal

At the Europa Terminal, we are fully engaged in the second and final phase of the foundation works for subproject 1. This represents a crucial step in the terminal’s ongoing expansion and an important preparation for the arrival of the brand-new harbor cranes.

While demolition up to caisson 12 is in full swing, our teams are simultaneously advancing the foundations of the Danish Quay (DK14–DK22). Thanks to well-coordinated planning, everything is progressing according to schedule, with visible daily advancements.

Some key figures:
📍 55 tubular piles installed
📍 55 sheet piles in progress
📍 198 MV piles in progress
📍 289 vibro piles in progress

Additionally, 12 sections of the Danish Quay have already been concreted, resulting in 299.4 meters of quay wall taking shape — an impressive sight of what will soon become one of the terminal’s most important features. 💪

These works are made possible through collaboration between our partners: Port of Antwerp-Bruges and PSA International as clients, and Artes Group and Boskalis Nederland as executing partners. Together, we are ensuring that the Europa Terminal is ready for the future and that the new harbor cranes can operate seamlessly.
