Salvage of the ASH

Herbosch-Kiere was commissioned to salvage the wreck of HMT ASH in the Port of London.

This was a ship from the Second World War that sank close to the Oaze Deep Buoy in the Thames Estuary. The ship was built in 1939 and later deployed as a minesweeper, before sinking when it was hit following the explosion of a mine in 1941. The wreck had broken up into numerous pieces. The salvage operation was carried out by the multifunctional ship ATLANTIS.
