Successful completion of new quay wall for Top-Mix
Another successful project on our record! In July 2024, we successfully completed the construction of the new quay wall for our client Top-Mix in Ostend. The work began in September 2023, and since mid-August 2024, the client has been making full use of their renewed quay wall.
With this new quay wall, Top-Mix can handle around 3,600 tons of raw materials daily via water, which is equivalent to three full ships per day. This leads to a significant reduction in road transport, with about 120 fewer trucks on the road, and contributes to lower CO2 emissions.
This shift to more shipping transport is a key component in reducing their ecological impact. This project is another excellent example of how we, with our expertise, can contribute to sustainable infrastructure.
